Responsibilities

  • Create innovative, user-focused and consumer-centric toy concepts and play experiences for preschool products.
  • Support the design and development process from early concept through final production-ready execution.
  • Generate new ideas through research, trend review, brainstorming, and sketch exploration.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, vendors, QA, sculptors, and model makers to develop strong design solutions.
  • Present design ideas clearly through sketches, mock-ups, digital visuals, and other communication tools.

  • Manage timelines and priorities effectively while supporting multiple projects at different stages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Design or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Around 1- 3 years of relevant design experience, preferably in toys, preschool products, or a related consumer product category.
  • Strong design skills with the ability to translate ideas into compelling product concepts and final design solutions.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design software; knowledge of SolidWorks or zBrush is a plus.
  • Strong sketching, visual communication, and presentation skills.
  • Creative, curious, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the China office if needed.
