About the role
We are seeking a hands-on HR Executive to oversee day-to-day HR operations for our Singapore retail business. This role is responsible for end-to-end HR administration including work pass management, compliance matters, and employee lifecycle processes. Responsibilities
- Employee Relations & HR Operations
- Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and maintain employee records
- Manage onboarding and exit processes including documentation and system updates
- Handle employee enquiries and provide HR support to operations teams
- Support disciplinary processes where required
- Work Pass Management
- Handle foreign work pass applications, renewals and cancellations
- Monitor work pass validity and quota utilisation
- Liaise with MOM on manpower-related matters pertaining to work pass holders
- Recruitment Coordination
- Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings and interview arrangements
- Screen applications and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Insurance & Claims
- Coordinate insurance matters for retail shops and employees
- Liaise with insurance brokers and service providers
- Monitor policy renewals and documentation
- HR Compliance & Administration
- Support government-related submissions (e.g., OED, surveys, reporting)
- Maintain HR documentation and ensure compliance with local employment regulations
- Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 2 years HR experience
- Familiar with MOM work pass application procedures
- Good knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and MOM regulations
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
- Preferred
- Experience in retail or F&B industry will be an advantage
- Experience handling foreign workforce will be an advantage
