This position will work directly with vendors, University staff, and consultants to maintain cloud-based and local solutions for Penn Engineering faculty, staff, and students and will be responsible for managing a variety of cloud services and on-premises resources. Hybrid work eligible. Job Description Job Responsibilities Maintain, configure, and support cloud-based platforms used by administrative departments, faculty, staff, and students, including Google Workspace for Education, Freshservice, Slack, Slate, and others. Perform ongoing administration and maintenance, including changes, modifications, or improvements of cloud services to ensure reliability, security, and data privacy and compliance. Maintenance, configuration, and management of hosted websites on Pantheon and on-premise webservers. Work with stakeholders to define standards, best practices, and long-term plans for the services, and recommend solutions based on those needs. Document configurations, procedures, and service changes, and provide support for troubleshooting, access, and issue resolution as needed. Participation in our on-call support rotation. On-call work may be required during non-business hours to respond to urgent, high-priority, and escalated service issues or outages. This includes the potential for both evening and weekend hours.
