Responsibilities

  • Lead activities that support Suncor's compliance with ARS O&P requirements and ISO Rules by maintaining accurate , organized, and audit-defensible evidence.
  • Act as team lead for AESO O&P compliance audits and self-certifications, including preparing, collecting, validating , and submitting evidence to AESO.

  • Work collaboratively with asset owners to develop, implement, and sustain business processes, procedures, and internal controls supporting O&P reliability standards and ISO Rule compliance.
  • Monitor internal controls to confirm they are in place, effective, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
  • Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to enhance O&P and ISO Rule awareness and provide guidance on compliance questions.
  • Provide training and guidance to Suncor business units on O&P and ISO Rule compliance requirements and procedures.
  • Participate in risk assessments and support development of mitigation plans to address identified compliance risks.
