About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with banking and finance experience who is keen to broaden their legal and commercial knowledge within a fast-paced investment management business. The successful candidate will support legal work across the Group, with a particular focus on Private Credit transactions. They will play a key role in transaction execution, document review, legal administration and supporting the wider business on day-to-day legal matters. This role offers significant exposure to complex financing transactions and provides an excellent platform for professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Transaction Support
  • Review loan, lease and other financing documentation across the Private Credit business.
  • Draft ancillary transaction documentation including waiver letters, side letters, reservation of rights letters and amendment agreements.
  • Prepare guarantee, security and release documentation.
  • Manage the transaction processes, including monitoring and tracking satisfaction of conditions precedent.
  • Liaise directly with borrowers, clients, external counsel and other stakeholders regarding transaction requirements.
  • Assist with post-completion activities relating to finance transactions.
  • Coordinate and manage security registrations following transaction completion.
  • Legal Operations & Commercial Support
  • Review and negotiate non-disclosure agreements, hold harmless agreements and similar preliminary transaction documents.
  • Review supplier agreements and commercial contracts across the Triple Point Group.
  • Monitor and coordinate workflow through the Legal team's central inbox.
  • Maintain and update internal legal databases and transaction records.
  • Undertake legal and regulatory research as required.
  • Support the Legal team with a broad range of ad hoc legal and administrative matters.

  • Identify opportunities to improve legal processes, efficiency and knowledge sharing.
  • Explore the responsible use of AI and legal technology tools to enhance productivity and improve service delivery.

  • Knowledge & Experience
  • Essential
  • Degree educated, ideally in Law or a related discipline.
  • An experienced paralegal with exposure to banking work.
  • Experience reviewing and drafting loan documentation and commercial contracts.
  • Sound commercial judgement and awareness of legal risk.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong client service mindset with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of AI tools and an ability to use them appropriately, responsibly and effectively in a professional environment.
  • Experience using legal research platforms and databases.
  • Desirable
  • SQE, LPC or CILEX qualification (completed or in progress).
  • Experience supporting secured lending transactions.
  • Experience within financial services, private credit or banking.
  • Familiarity with security registrations and post-completion processes.
