Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for the property portfolio, including consolidated accounts, management reporting, and variance analysis
- Oversee statutory reporting and financial disclosures, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, listing requirements for SGX, and MAS regulatory obligations
- Drive annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes across asset and portfolio levels
- Lead preparation of board materials, financial reports and supporting documentation for audits and regulatory requirements
- Provide financial analysis and performance insights covering rental income, operating expenses, capital expenditure, cash flows, and asset-level returns to support business and investment decisions
- Manage tax compliance, regulatory submissions, and governance-related reporting requirements while liaising with external advisors and relevant stakeholders
- Support treasury and capital management activities, including liquidity planning, financing arrangements, debt management, and working capital optimisation
- Partner closely with asset management, property management, investment, and operations teams to enhance portfolio performance and financial visibility
- Review and strengthen internal controls, financial governance frameworks, and reporting processes while driving finance transformation and operational improvement initiatives
- Lead and develop finance team members, while presenting financial performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or ACCA preferred
- At least 8-10 years of relevant experience within REITs, real estate investment platforms, property developers, asset managers, or similar real estate-focused organisations
- Strong experience in financial reporting, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering within a property or asset-intensive environment
- Sound knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards, listed company reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Exposure to portfolio finance, property performance analysis, treasury activities, and capital management initiatives would be advantageous
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior management, business leaders, auditors, lenders, and external advisors
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing and developing finance teams
- Commercially minded, analytical, and able to operate effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced investment environment
