Responsibilities

  • Review incoming customer and vendor legal contracts, and ensure contracts move forward efficiently.
  • Navigate and execute on state, local, and district compliance requirements.
  • Provide onboarding, travel and IT support to team members, and reconcile travel and business expenses monthly.
  • Coordinate logistics and operations for conferences and events including vendor management, scheduling, on-site support, hotel room blocks, dinner reservations, and transportation.
  • Regular commute to a local office is required (up to three days each week) to support essential physical operations. This includes maintaining swag inventory, collecting mail, and packing and preparing shipments.
  • Limited travel is required, including for onboarding, professional development, and team events.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years operations experience in a startup environment
  • Highly organized - you are obsessed with creating order and consistency
  • Detail oriented - you can catch the small stuff and read the fine print
  • Physical capacity to safely move, lift, and handle inventory and shipping packages weighing up to 30+ pounds
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle for local business use (mileage and business travel will be fully reimbursed in accordance with California Labor Code § 2802)
  • Skilled in writing clearly and succinctly
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a doer - this is an extremely hands-on role
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Preferred Skills & Experiences
  • Active Notary Public designation (or willingness to obtain one, with compay-covered application and bonding fees).
