About the role
As an Inclusion Support Educator, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where every child feels seen, heard, and empowered. Working closely with children who may have additional needs, you'll champion inclusion and foster meaningful participation in all aspects of the program. Shifts are available Monday - Friday across the services opening hours of: Morning: 6:30am - 9:00am (Rise then Shine Program) Afternoon: 2:00pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program) School Holidays: 6:30am - 6:00pm (Holiday HQ Program)
Responsibilities
- Encourage and support children with diverse abilities to actively engage in play, learning, and social experiences
- Work collaboratively with Educators, families, and support services to deliver tailored strategies that promote each child's growth
- Foster a culture of acceptance and understanding among all children, helping build empathy and inclusion from the ground up
- Providing 1:1 or small group assistance based on individual needs
- Supporting communication, self-regulation, and social development through engaging activities
- Adapting learning experiences and environments to be accessible and enjoyable for all
- Contributing to planning, reflection, and continuous improvement alongside your team
Requirements
- ✔️Is energetic, enthusiastic and team-oriented
- ✔️Is working towards or has attained a relevant Allied Health qualification
- ✔️ Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact
- ✔️ Communicates clearly and confidently
- ✔️ Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role
- ✔️ Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check
- ✔️ Has Australian work rights
