Torch Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated Engineer/Analyst to support high-fidelity development, integration, and analysis of tactical missile systems models and simulations on Redstone Arsenal. Candidates should be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team and should possess broad technical knowledge across modeling and simulation, systems engineering, and data analysis, with expertise in one or more focus areas. Job Duties: Integrate vendor-supplied all-digital models and simulations into a common C++ simulation framework and scene generation environment. Develop new C++ models to characterize missile flight dynamics and kinematics, sensor physics, and target signatures. Use MATLAB and Python scripting to analyze and visualize Monte Carlo simulations, sensitivity studies, and component and system-level performance. Job Requirements: US Citizenship. B.S. Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering, or related technical discipline. 7+ years of experience in software development, software systems design and integration, and/or data analysis. Proficiency with MATLAB, C++, Python, Fortran, or other programming languages. Experience developing or integrating all-digital, 6DOF simulations and models. Proven capability implementing differential equations, coordinate transformations, and statistical methods. Experience developing and executing Monte Carlo, statistical, and sensitivity studies Demonstrated communicator with experience presenting technical findings and analysis results. Must have an Active Secret security clearance. Preferred Requirements: Experience with IR and/or RF sensor phenomenology and signatures. Knowledge and understanding of verification and validation processes.
