- Requirements and Qualifications
- Master of Divinity from accredited graduate theological school
- Clinical Pastoral Education or equivalent supervised ministry experience
- Three years' relevant ministry experience, including preaching/worship leadership, program planning and pastoral counseling
- Ordination as an Episcopal priest, licensed in the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, capable of serving diverse denominational, racial/ethnic, and religious constituencies.
- Ability to work creatively and collegially with chaplains, faculty and staff of other Christian and non-Christian religious traditions
- Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail; self-direction and ability to manage projects, set priorities, and navigate complex situations, both pastoral and organizational.
