Responsibilities
- Assessment/Problem Identification Perform echocardiography with Doppler studies, transesophageal echo, and stress echo procedures.

- Report equipment malfunctions to management and coordinate repair with Clinical Engineering or appropriate vendors.
- Administration Maintain availability and reliability in scheduled work, tracking attendance and punctuality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Guest Relations Contribute to a positive work climate and support the overall team effort of the department.
- Project a consistently professional image when interacting with patients, families, and external partners.
- Competency Validation Maintain required knowledge and skills to perform assigned responsibilities at an acceptable level, as evaluated through ongoing performance appraisals.
Requirements
- Required:
- High School graduate/GED is required.
- Completion of accredited Echo Tech program .
- Will work under general supervision performing highly technical cardiology diagnostic procedures, instructs, prepares and monitors patients during testing procedures.
- Preferred:
- 1-2 years of Echo Tech working experience.

We are seeking candidates who are CCI or ARDMS certified. Hours are: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with every 4th rotating Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. On-call rotation hospital requirements. Required to work at both NM Palos Hospital and Tinley Park Outpatient Cardiac Testing.
