A Product Development Assistant Manager plays a vital role in shaping and managing insurance products that deliver real value to customers while supporting business growth. This role partners closely with cross‑functional teams-such as underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and compliance-to develop, enhance, and launch products that are competitive, customer‑centric, and compliant with regulations. In this position, you'll analyze market trends, product performance, and customer insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation. By balancing customer needs with profitability and strategic objectives, the Product Development Assistant Manager helps build sustainable products that strengthen the company's portfolio and support long‑term success. Position Responsibilities: Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams on product development for new insurance products and enhancements. Develop and ensure delivery of detailed product specifications and regulatory collaterals. Support regulatory filings and ensure compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with Product Propositions, Product Implementation, Pricing, Operations, IT, Risk management teams to deliver high quality product delivery. Manage small to medium projects independently. Support Head of Product Development with ad-hoc projects and presentations. Required Qualifications: A minimum bachelor's degree in Actuarial, Financial, Business, or related field of study Minimum 5 years' experience in Product Development and/or Pricing functions in Life Insurance industry. Understanding business processes and product development cycles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical detail and commercial impact. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across the business. Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Self - driven to proactively identify what needs to be addresses and prioritized to best achieve objectives of their role
