Responsibilities
- Support the daily administration of employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
- Assist with leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, personal leaves, and applicable state leave programs
- Help ensure compliance with federal and state regulations such as FMLA, ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA, and state-specific leave laws
- Serve as a key point of contact for employee questions about benefits and leave, providing clear and helpful guidance

- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-3 years of experience in HR, benefits, leave administration, or a related area
- Exposure to or interest in employee benefits and leave programs (internships or coursework count!)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks
- Comfort using systems and tools, including HRIS platforms and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, helping others and explaining information clearly
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
