- As a key member of the Revenue Cycle Management team, you will play an integral part in helping Enovis drive the medical technology industry forward by transforming patient care and improving patient outcomes.
- Job Title: Medical Coder - RCM
- Location: Hyderabad, India
- Business Unit: Revenue Cycle Management
- Role Summary:
- The coder will support revenue cycle operations by ensuring clean claim submissions, minimizing denials, and maintaining coding accuracy.
- This position requires hands-on experience in US Healthcare Provider-side coding and adherence to quality, compliance, and productivity standards.

- The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Review patient medical records, including physician notes, lab reports, and operative reports
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on documentation
- Ensure coding compliance with CMS guidelines, payer requirements, and coding standards
- Validate medical necessity and ensure proper linkage between diagnosis and procedures
- Identify documentation gaps and coordinate with providers for clarification (query process)
- Work on specialties such as IP/OP, ED, Surgery, Radiology, or Evaluation & Management (E&M) depending on project requirements
- Perform coding audits and assist in improving coding accuracy and quality
- Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks as per SLA requirements
- Support denial analysis related to coding errors and implement corrective actions
- Stay updated with coding guidelines, regulatory updates, and payer-specific rules
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations
- Participate in internal quality checks, audits, and training sessions
- Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Expertise in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Understanding of E&M coding guidelines and modifiers usage
- Familiarity with NCCI edits, LCD/NCD policies, and payer rules
- Experience in provider-side coding (mandatory)
- Ability to interpret clinical documentation accurately
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills for handling provider queries
- Ability to meet productivity and quality benchmarks
Requirements
- Any Graduate (Life Sciences preferred)
- 3-5 years of experience in US Healthcare Medical Coding (Provider side mandatory)
- Active Medical Coding Certification required (any one or more):
- CPC (Certified Professional Coder - AAPC)
- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist - AHIMA)
- Certification must be active and in good standing
