About the role

The Finance Business Partner UKI & CEE is a key role within the Europe Finance team. As a strategic co-pilot to the business leadership, you will partner closely with the Commercial Business Directors for Advanced Wound Care in the UK and in Poland. Your primary accountability is to drive commercial performance and deliver against plans, forecasts, and strategic objectives. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Finance Director, Advanced Wound Care, Europe. You will be a trusted advisor and respected partner, valued for your strong commercial acumen and your ability to deliver succinct, powerful storytelling supported by actionable insights. As the face of Finance to your business stakeholders, you will connect them, where appropriate, with colleagues across Convatec Business Services (CBS) and the wider Finance team to resolve matters outside the scope of the Finance Business Partner role (e.g., statutory accounting, tax, and controlling activities). You will also act as an advocate for the Finance Service Delivery Model, helping stakeholders understand and adopt the new ways of working. Within the Finance organisation, you will act as a leader by proactively sharing your business knowledge and commercial insight with the broader FP&A team to build lasting capability and elevate overall performance. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Commercial Directors in the UK and Poland to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for the business unit. Jointly own P&L performance, driving sales, EBIT, revenue growth, cash flow optimisation, and overall commercial outcomes against plans, forecasts, and strategic objectives. Partner with the Commercial Directors and the BU leadership team to develop the long-term Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), budgets, and forecasts. Provide strategic input on goals, risks, opportunities, and tactical initiatives, while ensuring the robustness of all plans and delivering them to the Senior Finance Director, Advanced Wound Care Europe. Translate business strategy into clear short-, medium-, and long-term financial and non-financial targets and KPIs. Establish robust frameworks for patient modelling, leading indicators, competitive benchmarking, and a balanced scorecard approach to monitor performance, identify gaps, and drive timely corrective actions. Act as the primary face of Finance to the Business Unit. Proactively connect business stakeholders with the appropriate teams in Convatec Business Services (CBS) or the wider Finance organisation. Note that CBS RTR, PTP, and OTC teams manage all accounting operations, while control issues are handled by the BU Controller. The Finance Business Partner is not accountable for resolving accounting, tax, or treasury issues but serves as an effective conduit between the business, external authorities, and the wider Finance team. Work closely with the CBS FP&A team, which is responsible for preparing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecasts. Provide clear direction on strategic goals, opportunities, and risks, along with input on tactical initiatives not visible to the central team. Ensure the robustness of the AOP and forecasts and provide assurance to the Senior Finance Director, AWC Europe and the VP AWC Finance. Assess the current state of marketing analytics and performance capabilities, define the desired future state, and develop a practical, measurable roadmap to close the gap. Deliver this in close collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams. Develop a deep understanding of the role of Performance Marketing within the overall P&L and play a strategic role in driving profitable growth for the Advanced Wound Care business unit. About you
