Senior Affiliate Business Development Manager, Western Europe

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Business Development Manager to join our team, specifically focused on high-volume Affiliates, Trading Communities and KOLs. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our network of Affiliates (Key Opinion Leaders, Trading Communities, Traffic Websites), and (secondarily) VIP clients - in the Netherlands and the broader Western part of the European Union. This role is responsible for those partnerships from a to z.

Responsibilities

• Primary goal: maximize revenue in the region through onboarding and retention of affiliates.
• Secondary: Expand the user base and grow awareness of the OKX brand
• Affiliate Recruitment: Proactively search for and attract new affiliates, KOLs and trading/crypto communities and influencers, fostering strategic partnerships to enhance our network.
• Results-Driven Approach: Implement strategies and campaigns to drive measurable results, focusing on creating content, increasing trading volume, acquiring new users, and promoting active transactions through affiliate channels.
• Relationship Building: Manage and enhance relationships with local crypto influencers and KOLs, being in contact with them frequently, build partnerships with influencers for the purpose of user acquisition
• Partnership Expansion: Initiate and participate in meetings with partners, exploring opportunities to expand cooperation and strengthen existing relationships, both locally and internationally.
• Collaboration with Product Team: Collaborate closely with colleagues from the product department, providing valuable market insights to optimize product offerings and attract qualified users.
• Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on competitors' advantages and industry trends, utilizing this knowledge to refine our strategies, maintain a competitive edge, and capitalize on market gaps.
• What We Look For In You
• Solid affiliate marketing experience in the cryptocurrency space
• Experience in building large affiliate networks from start to finish
• Solid project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Understanding of fundamental affiliate customer acquisition KPIs and optimization methods to improve performance through data analysis and segmentation
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data to drive strategic decisions
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
• Goal-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets

Requirements

• Experience working across time zones and cross-cultural teams
• Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange, trading company, CFD broker!
• Passionate about blockchain technology and the crypto trading space
• Dutch speaker
• Immediate availability
