About the role

The People Partnering team at Tide plays a pivotal role in driving business success by acting as strategic advisors and coaches to leaders at all levels. As Head of People Partnering for UK & Europe, you will: Design and implement a People Partnering strategy for the Tide's UK & Europe business that supports business objectives, enhances the employee experience, and fosters a high-performance culture. Act as a strategic partner and advisor to the CEO of Tide's UK & Europe business and the UK & Europe management team, providing expert guidance on organisational design, workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of People Partners, ensuring they are equipped to support leaders and teams across various markets. Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. Partner with business leaders to drive employee engagement, interpret survey insights, and implement targeted action plans to enhance team satisfaction, retention, and productivity. Ensure HR policies and programs align with relevant employment laws and industry best practices while managing cross-border employment complexities. Use HR analytics to inform people strategies, track key workforce metrics, and present actionable insights to business leaders. Oversee performance management, career development, and succession planning initiatives to build a strong talent pipeline and support internal mobility. Support business leaders in driving organisational change, equipping them with the necessary people management tools to ensure smooth transitions and sustained business performance. Provide direct coaching to managers on complex employee relations matters, leadership development, and team effectiveness. Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion across all aspects of people partnering, ensuring it remains a core pillar of talent, engagement, and leadership strategies. Upholding and promoting the values of Tide in all interactions and decisions.

Requirements

  • Progressive HR experience, including direct partnership with SVPs / C-Suite leaders.
  • Extensive experience partnering with cross-cultural leadership teams.
  • Experience leading HR for a commercial and operations client groups.
  • Experience with line management of both junior and senior People Partners.
  • Good understanding of global HR practices and employment laws, particularly in India and various European countries.
  • Strong client focus with outstanding judgement, critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change at pace and foster a positive organisational culture.
