Responsibilities

  • Analyse and manage purchase requisitions for medium to large-scale steel fabrication items, casting, forging, equipment, buy-outs and services
  • Identify and develop strategic supplier partnerships aligned with technical and commercial requirements

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement operations
  • Promote a strong HSEQA culture aligned with FLS standards and MissionZero principles
  • Participate in supplier visits, quality follow-up activities, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement

  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within Procurement or Supply Chain environments
  • Advanced English preferred
  • Spanish language skills desirable
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management capability
  • Knowledge of technical drawing interpretation, taxes, and procurement processes
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Desirable: Power BI, financial mathematics, and ERP Microsiga knowledge

Role Summary We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Technical Purchaser/ Comprador Técnico to join our Brazilian PBL Procurement team supporting Votorantim operations. This role is responsible for managing medium to large-scale procurement activities, supplier negotiations, contract execution, and strategic sourcing initiatives while ensuring cost competitiveness, delivery performance, and technical compliance. The ideal candidate combines strong procurement expertise with analytical thinking, negotiation capability, supplier relationship management, and a strong sense of ownership in a dynamic industrial environment.
