About the role

The Browser Technology Team (BTG) develops cutting-edge technology to make users more productive through an enhanced, more secure web browser experience. We are looking for a talented and proactive Engineering Manager to help us drive a growing and highly experienced team of engineers, working together to build state-of-the-art security products. - Working with product managers in product definition, working with architects in architecture design, and coordinating with other teams to build the complete solution.

- Managing a team of talented engineers and coaching, mentoring and encouraging their growth and career progress.

- Required skills and experience
- A minimum 10 + years of work experience with 4 +Years in managerial role.
- Experience managing a talented engineering team spanning all levels of experience.
- Strong domain experience with Chrome and Chromium.
- A good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- A good understanding of distributed systems and networking technologies.
- Strong Programming knowledge of Go, Python and/or C++.
- Flexibility in coordinating with global teams and encouraging round-the-clock efficiency.
- The ability to coach, mentor and encourage growth and career progress of team members.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Communicate in an open, transparent and consistent manner with team and co-workers.
