Job Description As our Manufacturing Quality Manager, you will lead site engineering and quality operations at our new Salt Lake City Electronics Manufacturing Facility. This is a high-impact role requiring a deeply technical individual who can bridge the gap between the factory floor and corporate headquarters. You will be the primary on-site technical authority, responsible for architecting production lines and performing deep-dive diagnostics on radio hardware to ensure the Quality team remains self-sufficient and aligned with HQ standards. ● Technical Leadership and Production Architecture: Lead the design, build-out, and optimization of electronics manufacturing production lines. You will diagnose complex technical issues and mentor QA technicians on sophisticated troubleshooting to establish a self-sufficient team. ● HQ Liaison and Quality Alignment: Maintain a robust, proactive connection to HQ. You will serve as the central conduit for quality standards, ensuring site operations remain perfectly synced with corporate engineering expectations. ● Operational Management: Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and yearly activities for the Quality department. ● KPI and Performance Ownership: Support warehouse, shipping, and production operations to hit monthly targets. Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost. ● Compliance and Standards: Ensure rigorous adherence to quality and regulatory guidelines, including ISO requirements and internal corporate protocols. ● Strategic Growth: Identify and implement long-term continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare and manage the departmental budget while establishing a leadership presence within the corporation. ● Team Development: Recruit, interview, hire, and train a world-class technical staff.
