Responsibilities

  • Monitor outstanding accounts receivable (AR) and proactively follow up with project managers and account owners on ageing receivables to ensure timely collection.
  • Track and report on project costs, committed costs, budgets, and financial performance.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in finance, project finance, or financial administration.
  • Experience with invoicing, accounts receivable, budgeting, and cost monitoring.
  • Good understanding of project financial management, including budgets, committed costs, and profitability (EBIT/EBITX).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in following up on outstanding receivables with project managers and customers.
  • Meticulous, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting project-based businesses or engineering/technology organisations.
  • Familiarity with project accounting, revenue recognition, and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting and management reporting.
