About us The Division of Psychology and Language Sciences (PaLS) is one of the top-rated centres for psychology in the country, both in teaching and research. We have been ranked 1 st in the UK for research in Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience (2021 Research Excellence Framework) and 4 th in the world for Psychology (ShanghaiRanking 2025). Within the Department of Experimental Psychology, we have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding educator to lead a strategic expansion of our education programme. You will join a dynamic and collaborative department with a vibrant research and education culture. About the role We are looking for a strategic thinker with a keen eye for cross-institutional collaboration, and an innovative and passionate educator with experience in curriculum development in psychology. The successful applicant will lead the design and development of a portfolio of undergraduate psychology modules suitable for students across UCL, collaborate with colleagues across the institution in aligning content with existing and new interdisciplinary programmes, coordinate project placements, and deliver high-quality and innovative teaching. We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible. This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 60% on site. About you The successful candidate will have a PhD in psychology or a closely related field, significant experience teaching psychology in higher education, including curriculum development and module design. They will have a strong understanding of inclusive and evidence-based teaching practices and the ability to design engaging and accessible curricula for students with diverse academic backgrounds. They will have excellent organisational, project management, interpersonal and communication skills. They will have the ability to work collaboratively and build partnerships across UCL.
