Stiles Ave, OKC, OKSalary :Level II: up to $71,400.00, based on education and experience.Level III: up to $77,000.00, based on education and experience.Full Time /Part Time : Full TimeWork Schedule : Monday - FridayPrimary Hours : 8-5Position Description:The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in the areas of speech and language which may include help with social communication, speech sounds, and feeding/swallowing.Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions:Provides early intervention services in the child and family's natural environment (home, childcare, park etc.)Participates in family interview.Conducts intakes, including client interviews, and conducts assessments to make appropriate recommendations for services.Evaluates and treat children with suspected developmental communication delays to determine need for services.Collaborates with families and caregivers to identify goals, develop strategies and appropriate effective family intervention services plan.Coaches caregivers on implementing strategies to increase communication.Provides services to families in their native language through collaboration with interpreters when necessary.Serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team to monitor the effectiveness of child health and development services.Performs hearing screenings and makes appropriate referrals.Conducts group and individual speech and language treatment as appropriatePrepares and maintains progress reports, evaluations and records as neededParticipating as a member of an interdisciplinary team in completing assessments and developing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs).Consults with community agencies, childcare and school systems on behalf of families and may provide special programs as requested.Maintains confidential records of services including progress notes and evaluation reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.Being present in the office is an essential function of this jobOther duties as assignedOther DutiesDemonstrates knowledge of and supports mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behavior.Works effectively in team environment, participating and assisting their peers.Health insuranceVision insurancePaid time offFlexible schedulePerformance bonus
