About the role

You will serve as an ENGINEER in the ELECTROMAGNETIC SIGNATURE TECHNOLOGY DIVISION, SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT BRANCH of CARDEROCK DIV NS. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-04 pay band (GS-12/13 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: As a professional engineer: Applying radio frequency (RF) engineering principles to plan, execute, or analyze signature measurement events for military vehicles, vessels, or aircraft. This includes developing test plans, configuring measurement equipment, and interpreting data to assess electromagnetic signatures; Participating in technical working groups to define RF measurement requirements for defense-related projects. This involves collaborating with project stakeholders, such as government sponsors or engineering teams, to establish test objectives and success criteria. Contributing to research or development efforts aimed at improving RF measurement systems or techniques.
