Quality Inspector 2 - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Perform "samples" selection and package for shipment.
• Follow inspection checklist and record any identified defects.
• Follow established quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure product meets quality conformance specified by the customer.
• Prepares written reports and provides notification to manufacturing management of known or found defects.
• Identify potential issues and involve department Lead and/or management to determine an appropriate solution.
• May assist with special projects or more complex customer orders.
• May assist with disposition of defective or non-conforming product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 2 or more years of experience in a quality control/assurance function required
• Requires good knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes key to successfully execute and complete the duties of the job.
• Strong oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain quality policy, methods and/or procedures when completing assignments, as well as provide a level of detail required to resolve issues.
• Requires very good organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines and ability to coordinate phases of work with others.
• Requires strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment.
• Position Hours: 2nd shift (approx. 3:00pm to 11:00pm). Qualified candidates must be able to work afternoon and evening hours. There is a $2.00 per hour premium shift differential.

Quality Inspector 2 - 2nd Shift (approx. 3:00pm to 11:00pm) starting at $18.75 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour premium shift differential! The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting printed materials and performing quality tests to ensure products meet customer specifications and company standards.
