Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in a relevant field
• 3+ yrs of experience as a project engineer, process engineer, program manager, construction management or related roles.
• Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management. Must be well organized and able to work effectively under pressure. Proven ability to effectively manage project budgets is essential.
• 5+ years of data center engineering or operations experience
• Project Management Certification from industry recognized authority
• 5+ years Technical project management or Construction management
• Experience managing large, cross-functional projects exceeding $3 Million dollars in scope
• Experience performing vendor management for multiple accounts exceeding $1 million dollars i

Key job responsibilities - Manage calendar, schedules, invites, lock down locations. - Manage action plans for teams, communicate actions and provide suggested time frames based on experience. - Facilitate creation of SOWs with partner teams to be included in contract documents including RFQ/RFPs, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing. - Evaluate performance and work product of on-site partners and escalate issues through Amazon leadership. - Identify and communicate needs in terms of employee relations. - Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with, operational teams, cross functional amazon team members, and partners. - Evaluate project risks and issues and propose actionable resolutions. - Build strong working relationships with data center leadership teams across multiple sites as well as other internal stakeholders (operations, finance, safety, security, legal, procurement). - General knowledge of data center operations and facility management. - Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects - Ability to follow accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries. - Proactively and continually improve your level of knowledge about data center relevant technologies.
