AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain - and we're looking for talented people who want to help. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Key job responsibilities - Manage calendar, schedules, invites, lock down locations. - Manage action plans for teams, communicate actions and provide suggested time frames based on experience. - Facilitate creation of SOWs with partner teams to be included in contract documents including RFQ/RFPs, change order controls, purchase orders, and invoicing. - Evaluate performance and work product of on-site partners and escalate issues through Amazon leadership. - Identify and communicate needs in terms of employee relations. - Monitor and enforce project schedules and quality with, operational teams, cross functional amazon team members, and partners. - Evaluate project risks and issues and propose actionable resolutions. - Build strong working relationships with data center leadership teams across multiple sites as well as other internal stakeholders (operations, finance, safety, security, legal, procurement). - General knowledge of data center operations and facility management. - Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects - Ability to follow accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries. - Proactively and continually improve your level of knowledge about data center relevant technologies.
