About the Level C Role As a Senior Lecturer in Pharmacy, you will play a pivotal leadership role in establishing and shaping a new and growing Pharmacy discipline within the College of Medicine and Public Health. With a strong focus on teaching excellence, you will lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of contemporary, evidence-based curricula aligned to industry standards and accreditation requirements. This is a unique opportunity to influence the development of innovative programs and build strong partnerships across the pharmacy and healthcare sectors, ensuring graduates are well prepared for evolving professional practice. This is one of several new academic appointments supporting the establishment of the Pharmacy discipline, offering an exciting opportunity to help build a high-performing team and contribute to shaping the future of pharmacy education at the University. The role includes participation in vibrant, face-to-face intensive teaching weeks at the City Campus, designed to enhance the student experience. Lead the design, delivery and ongoing enhancement of pharmacy curricula, including flagship undergraduate and postgraduate programs Deliver engaging, evidence-based teaching and provide academic leadership to support an exceptional student experience Drive curriculum innovation and help establish and grow the Pharmacy discipline within the College Build and strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers, industry and professional bodies to support accreditation, program relevance and graduate employability This position makes a significant contribution to the University's strategic plan to changing 10 million lives, Every One Matters , by 2035 by connecting to the University's strategic driver of being student-centred and strengthening industry and enterprise partnerships. About You You are an experienced and forward-thinking pharmacy academic with a strong track record of teaching excellence and educational leadership in higher education. With extensive clinical experience and a deep understanding of contemporary pharmacy practice, you are passionate about delivering high-quality, student-centred learning and driving innovation in curriculum design. You bring the ability to lead teaching teams, foster industry engagement, and contribute to the growth of a dynamic and future-focused pharmacy discipline. Demonstrated excellence in tertiary teaching and the application of contemporary pedagogical practices that enhance student success Significant clinical experience in pharmacy, with current or eligibility for professional registration in Australia Proven leadership in curriculum design, course coordination and the delivery of innovative, technology-enabled learning experiences Strong ability to build effective relationships with students, colleagues and industry partners, contributing to partnerships, accreditation and program quality About the Level D Role As an Associate Professor in Pharmacy, you will provide strategic academic leadership in establishing and growing a new Pharmacy discipline within the College of Medicine and Public Health. This senior role is central to the design, accreditation and delivery of innovative, student-centred pharmacy programs, including the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) and postgraduate prescribing offerings. You will drive excellence in curriculum design, teaching and learning, and accreditation, while building strong partnerships across the healthcare sector to ensure programs are aligned with workforce needs and positioned for long-term success. This is one of several new academic appointments contributing to the establishment of the Pharmacy discipline, offering a unique opportunity to help build a high-performing team and shape the future direction of pharmacy education at the University. The position involves occasional participation in vibrant, face-to-face intensive teaching weeks at the City Campus, designed to enhance the student experience.
