Main tasks: Develop, test, and maintain a Java application using core Java technologies like Springboot and React Design and implement REST APIs that meet business requirements and technical standards Collaborate with team members, business stakeholders, and product owners to analyze requirements and translate them into effective software solutions Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment Contribute to microservices architecture design and implementation, ensuring scalability and maintainability Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues efficiently, supporting team members during error analysis Engage in Agile/Scrum rituals including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement Collaborate on database design and optimization using SQL databases Required Skills and Experience: Excellent communication skills in German and English. Solid experience developing enterprise software systems using core Java technologies Proficiency with Spring frameworks (Spring MVC, Spring Boot) and related technologies Strong knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres) Experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline implementation (GitLab CI or similar) Demonstrated understanding of microservices architecture principles Ability to design and implement REST APIs Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaborative abilities Experience with version control systems and Agile/Scrum methodologies Familiarity with software testing and debugging practices Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with Terraform and / or Ansible Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with build tools such as Maven Experience with Postgres databases Knowledge of Java 21 or recent Java versions Understanding of identity and access management (IAM) concepts Previous experience working in cross-functional Scrum teams * Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.
