About the role

We are looking for a Director to lead our Front-End Procurement (FEPRO) Strategic Program Management Office (SPMO) team, based in Singapore / Boise. As Director, FEPRO SPMO, you will provide enterprise leadership for FEPRO's centralized Strategic Program Management Office, setting direction and accountability for strategic programs and AI-enabled initiatives across FE Equipment, API Procurement, and Operations (Site Procurement, TD Materials, and Spares & Services). A core focus of this role is driving the FEPRO AI roadmap and enablement - championing scaled adoption of AI and digital solutions to modernize program management and deliver sustained productivity gains aligned to Micron's global business objectives. You will consolidate existing PMO teams from Category and Site Operations into a single, enterprise-level SPMO, elevating leadership from operational coordination to enterprise program ownership and cross-functional influence.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
  • Provide enterprise leadership for the FEPRO centralized SPMO, setting direction and accountability for strategic programs across all FEPRO functions.
  • Direct and govern the full portfolio of FEPRO strategic programs (external- and internal-facing), ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities and value delivery.
  • Serve as Strategic Initiative Driver and Business Process Steward for FEPRO.
  • Align procurement strategies, programs, and processes with Micron's global growth and manufacturing objectives.
  • AI Roadmap and Enablement
  • Drive and expedite the FEPRO AI Everywhere Roadmap, partnering closely with SMAI to accelerate delivery of AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Champion scaled adoption of AI and digital solutions to modernize program management, improve decision quality, and deliver sustained productivity gains across FEPRO.
  • Lead next-generation capabilities, including Equipment Should Cost, Equipment Forecast 2.0, SPARKS (Statistical Analysis for Procurement), SVD (Supplier Value Density framework & BP), and SPAR (Supplier Performance & Accountability Remedy).
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools and data analytics into program workflows to improve decision-making speed and operational efficiency, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Set direction and accountability for AI-enabled initiatives across FE Equipment, API Procurement, and Operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a trusted business partner to FEPRO executive leadership, representing FEPRO in cross-functional forums.
  • Drive cross-site prioritization with executive stakeholders and provide strong executive trade-off management.
  • Provide the authority and influence required to standardize and enforce enterprise-wide adherence across FEPRO, beyond local execution.
  • Operate on par with peer leaders from other organizations, including Global Procurement, Site Teams, and key stakeholders.
  • Process Oversight & Governance
  • Establish operating cadence, performance metrics, and governance to ensure disciplined execution and transparency.
  • Standardize and enforce operating cadence, benefits realization, and process stewardship across FEPRO at the enterprise level.
  • Consolidate and reorganize existing PMO teams from Category and Site Operations into a single, enterprise-level FEPRO SPMO, eliminating duplication and optimizing resource deployment.
  • Provide governance and control of FEPRO programs, ensuring compliance with Micron policies, internal controls, and external requirements.
  • Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Drive measurable improvements in productivity, governance, and execution aligned to Micron's global business objectives.
  • Deliver sustained productivity, governance, and execution improvements for FEPRO, with impact extending across multiple functions, sites, and geographies.
  • Free up time for Global Supplier, Category, and Supplier Development Managers to focus on core procurement responsibilities, improving prioritization against Micron's highest-value business needs.
  • People Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team of managers and individual contributors that supports strategic programs, AI initiatives, and audit requirements across Procurement.
  • Set clear goals, manage performance, and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture aligned with Micron's core values.
  • Drive succession planning, talent pipeline development, and capability-building programs for the team.
  • Manage organizational structure, staffing levels, and resource allocation to meet business demands.
  • Build, develop, and retain a high-performing team through coaching, mentoring, and leadership development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
