Cloud Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize AWS environments, ensuring seamless integration within hybrid infrastructures, and maintaining robust security postures
• Deliver cloud solutions tailored to client requirements, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing best practices for cloud operations
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to align cloud strategies with organizational objectives, all while upholding strict security standards

Requirements

• 5 years of AWS development experience and/or AWS administration skills
• Systems engineering experience (ex: VMWare, VCenter, ESXi, etc.)
• Experience working in hybrid environments
• Experience with tools such as: AWS CloudFormation, IAM, EC2, VPC, and monitoring solutions like CloudWatch
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+
• Experience with customer-facing communication and collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 4 years of technical experience in lieu of degree
• Bonus points if you have:
• Experience with SOC (Security Operations Center) operations and requirements
• Clearance :
• Must have an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance
• The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:
• $100,200 - $203,400 USD
