Job Summary Job Summary As the Sr. Director of Revenue Operations, you will be a visionary leader responsible for overseeing the revenue close and operational strategy and execution for our diverse Go-to-Market (GTM) initiatives, Customer Support Services and other processes. You will partner with cross-functional executive leadership to design scalable processes that support a high-growth environment and M&A integration. This role requires a hands-on, results-oriented leader with an AI-first mindset and the ability to drive accountability across complex business models, including SaaS, hardware, and marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee Revenue Close and operational activities for various Go-to-Market programs and initiatives, including Marketplace, Captive Financing, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Customer programs ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Scalable Strategy: Design and drive the implementation of streamlined, scalable revenue operations processes and systems that align with various Go-to-Market goals and initiatives.
- M&A & Integration: Lead the revenue workstream for business model pivots and M&A activities, ensuring rapid integration of acquired entities into the corporate revenue framework.
- Optimization and transformation: continuously streamline processes through automation and data analytics.
- Executive Partnership: Communicate recommendations and risks to executive leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with overall business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales Ops, Ecosystems, Legal, Order Management and Fulfillment, AR, and IT to drive process design, automation, and continuous process improvements.
- Risk & Compliance: Establish and maintain strong SOX controls related to the revenue cycle to ensure financial integrity.
- Strategic Growth: Participate in or lead special projects and ad hoc requests, including the integration of new business models and acquisition targets.
- People Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and mentor team members, cultivating a high-performance environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.
Requirements
- Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive accounting close experience, including experience in a public company, revenue recognition, and SOX compliance..
- Expert in ASC 606 revenue recognition accounting principles and a deep understanding of revenue operations for enterprise businesses (Hardware, Software, Marketplace, and SaaS/Subscription).
- Proven track record in designing and implementing effective new go-to-market strategies with a passion for continuous optimization of systems and processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop rapport, credibility, and strong relationships across the organization.
- Intellectual curiosity, self-starter, and critical thinker with a demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- MBA and CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce (SFDC), BigQuery, and modern AI automation tools within finance workflows.
- Hands-on and results-oriented leader with a problem-solving and action-oriented mindset.
