Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Senior Practitioner for its client's Mental Health team in Haringey. The Senior Practitioner will provide leadership and advanced social work expertise within an integrated Community Mental Health Team. Responsibilities include managing complex cases, supervising and mentoring staff, and contributing to service development, while ensuring compliance with statutory duties under the Care Act, Mental Health Act, and Mental Capacity Act. What will your responsibilities be? Hold a reduced caseload of complex and high-risk cases, including safeguarding adults, court proceedings, and Mental Health Act assessments. Deputise for the Team Manager and act as Duty Manager when required. Promote best practice and compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards Chair meetings, including safeguarding strategy meetings and multidisciplinary case conferences. Work collaboratively with health professionals, voluntary agencies, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated care. Undertake risk assessments and implement risk management plans for individuals and staff safety.
