Category Manager - Services (m/f/d) - DACH, UK & Poland We are looking for a Category Manager to join our Procurement Team in our regional office in Munich. In this role, you will contribute to driving our strategy, to strengthening our presence and to offering solutions to our hotel partners in the regions of DACH, UK and Poland, as a trusted partner for procurement services, specifically in the services categories. Your role will involve developing strategies in your assigned categories, running tenders, and maintaining strong relationship both with suppliers and internal stakeholders, in order to deliver value and to ensure client satisfaction. Your main responsibilities: As Category Manager, you will manage the strategic and operational activities for our services categories in your region, source suppliers, negotiate contracts with them, deploy their solutions in the hotels and manage the relationships Develop and implement procurement strategies for both local and multinational Service-categories Define and execute category strategies based on business needs and market intelligence Manage sourcing processes including RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contracting Lead and collaborate on tenders and bidding processes together with the other category teams and support the local identification and implementation of best practices, synergies and more Run analyses including on tender results and present insights and recommendations to management and our clients in the region Translate market insights and customer trends into clear offering strategies by category Manage supplier performance and compliance with CSR goals, including decarbonisation efforts Your qualifications include: Minimum 5 years' experience in procurement/category management University degree or equivalent, ideally in Procurement, Business, or related field. Strong analytical, strategic, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience with sourcing, tendering (RFI/RFP), contracting, and supplier relationship management. Proactive, autonomous, and rigorous; team spirit and forward-thinking mindset. Fluent in English and German; any additional major European language is a plus (e.g. Polish, or French) What's in there for you?
