About the role

Job purpose/summary: To manage the relationships associated with a portfolio of clients and be the primary point of contact of such clients and other stakeholders, both internal and external. To coordinate service delivery with resources in other offices of Trident via an outsourcing business model, ensuring a high quality of work is maintained Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities/Duties: Proactively establish and maintain close relationships with clients through consistent communication such as by email, telephone and messaging To attend to all client's requests including such things as distributions, asset purchase or disposal, adding or removing beneficiaries, updating of Letter of Wishes, amending the Trust Deed etc To liaise and when required, engage into meetings with bankers, investment managers, lawyers, tax agents and other professionals alike as necessary in the administration of client entities To liaise with all internal departments as necessary in the administration of client entities such as Trident Trust Mauritius, Compliance, Business Development and Finance To observe and reinforce internal control policies and procedures and statutory guidelines as applicable to the role To ensure that file notes raised in Viewpoint are cleared on a timely basis To attend to annual trust reviews on a timely basis To attend to any third-party injections on a priority basis To check on-boarding documents when required To attend to queries in relation to Trust Accounting (eg nature of transaction, posting of entries etc) To check client invoices for accuracy and ensure that the payment is processed Ongoing monitoring of debtor ledger for fee collection To review the current annual fees charged and where applicable, to revise it in line with Trident's current fees, time spent on the client entities and types or complexity of assets To participate in the administration of client entities with integrity and to a high level of professional competence To assist Trident with meeting its regulatory requirements, including but not limited to risk assessments, ongoing monitoring and ongoing CDD processes To either comply with any CPD requirements of your professional body; or where the professional body does not require CPD or the individual is not a member of a professional body, the minimum number of hours specified by Trident, if any To observe and comply with Trident's internal policies and procedures To act with the highest standards of ethics, integrity and professionalism To participate in training and tests provided by Trident pursuant to Trident's regulatory obligations to train and test its employees and to demonstrate competency in the topics tested Anything else reasonably required by Trident in the administration of client entities and the maintenance of Trident's licences and regulatory compliance Must be fluent in written and spoken Mandarin to deal with Chinese clients
