- Experience with processing equipment, throughput, and manufacturing process execution
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Understanding of safety regulations and safe work practices in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Requirements
- Previous supervisory or people leadership experience
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Experience with equipment reliability, maintainability, standalone availability, and throughput improvement
- Experience launching new products in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, manufacturing equipment, the Global Launch Process, and the Global Vehicle Development Process
- Familiarity with robotics and automation technologies
- Experience with data analysis and statistical process control (SPC)
- Master's degree in Engineering
- This role is categorized as onsite. This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location on a full-time basis.
- The selected candidate will be required to travel on a regular basis (25-50%) for this role.

Job Description The Flawless Launch Execution Lead Manufacturing Engineer leads a team of engineers responsible for the successful execution of manufacturing engineering projects from early process development through final production launch at the assembly plant. This role oversees project planning, equipment and tooling implementation, installation, and startup while ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to GM's quality and safety standards. The individual in this role works closely with cross-functional partners including operations, quality, supply chain, product engineering, and strategic suppliers to deliver flawless launches and drive the future of our manufacturing processes.
