Job Title: Social Worker - MASH / Front Door Team Location: South Tyneside (Hybrid) Pay Rate: £32.58 per hour Job Description: Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting a Children's Social Worker to join a MASH / Front Door Team based in South Tyneside. This is a non-case-holding role within a busy Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub, offering flexible hours and hybrid working to support work-life balance. Prior MASH experience is preferred. You'll be part of a dynamic team responsible for managing referrals and ensuring timely, effective safeguarding decisions for children and families. What will your responsibilities be? Screen and assess incoming referrals to identify risks and determine appropriate next steps. Work collaboratively with partner agencies to share information and ensure coordinated safeguarding responses. Apply professional judgment to make threshold decisions in line with statutory guidance and local procedures. Maintain accurate records and contribute to high-quality reporting for safeguarding purposes. Participate in team discussions and reflective practice sessions to support continuous improvement.
