About the role

As part of our diverse team based in Adelaide , you will help make a positive impact on someone's life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose. The purpose of this role is to provide early, timely and personal service to workers, employers, and other stakeholders whilst providing an empathetic customer experience through a deep technical specialisation in complex claims. This will be a full-time, permanent position based in the Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days a week once fully trained.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans/wellness plans in accordance with guidelines.
  • Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions.
  • Engage in employer claims reviews where requested and maintain regular contact with the employer, EML account manager and/or primary EML claims specialist for a policy
  • Gather evidence and conduct investigations to assist in the dispute proceedings and ensure that they are managed and supported in a timely manner
  • Ensure the effective management of key legislative drivers in accordance with the Act
  • ABOUT YOU
  • Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Great attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology) is advantageous but not mandatory.
