Job Summary: The accounting supervisor is responsible for leading a team in the support of daily, weekly, monthly tasks as well as ensuring compliance with accounting processes and procedures. Core Duties Serve as a primary local point of contact for multiple audits and reviews throughout the year Assist with annual SOX and local equivalent compliance work Lead team in performing daily, weekly, monthly tasks Work in support of SEC filings as needed Perform detailed review of staff-prepared audit workpapers Assist with accounting work related to acquisitions Ensure ongoing compliance with internal controls and assist with audits as needed Develop training documents for departmental tasks to facilitate cross training and increase ease of task transitions Responsible to evaluate processes and continuously improve and lead a culture of continuous improvement Other duties as assigned
