Responsibilities
- Gathering and analysing market information for new projects, opportunities and industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Expanding our global footprint within the environmental sector, taking the lead in key priority markets including (coastal) flood risk and protection, nature-based solutions, ecosystem conservation and restoration, plus marine spatial planning.
- Shaping strategies and leading Climate and Nature initiative development within cross-regional team.
- Create and implement a scalable Geo-data value proposition tailored for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) market.
- Strategic planning in developing the pipeline of new businesses and market opportunities coming into Fugro.
- Working closely with the Service Line Teams to share information and leverage key contacts and relationships.
- Coordinating with the relevant Key Account Managers to align the Global and regional strategy.
- Communicating with the relevant Global teams on priority solutions (ie. Climate & Nature, Remote operations, UXO, etc.) for Fugro's business development initiatives.
- Working with the Commercial team to develop proposals that are targeted to address client's needs.
- Development of the Fugro sales strategies for the market, to ensure the attainment of company sales goals and profitability
- Represent Fugro at industry events to generate leads.
- Maintains the sales funnel and CRM management processes and systems .
- Qualifications / Skills / Experience
- Minimum 5 years' proven technical sales / business development expertise with an related field
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis within Asia
- Excellent listening and presentation skills
- Solid analytical abilities
- Great Team player
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
