- Qualifications and Education:
- Matric with 2-4 years of proven B2B sales experience, consistently exceeding quota and revenue targets in a target‑driven, outbound or hunter‑oriented environment.
- Matric required and Bachelor's degree highly advantageous (Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field preferred).
- Demonstrated understanding of data, analytics, and information services supporting financial services, retail, legal, investigative, insurance, and collections sectors.
- Proven experience in new business acquisition, prospecting, pipeline creation, and deal closure.
- Experience leading or supporting end‑to‑end sales cycles, including proposals, pricing discussions, negotiations, and forecasting.
- Ability and expectation to develop subject‑matter expertise in TransUnion's risk and analytics solutions to support credible, consultative, value‑based sales conversations.
- Strong understanding of consultative, value‑based selling, with the ability to link solutions to client KPIs and measurable ROI.
- Working knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) with demonstrable pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, regulatory considerations, and evolving business needs, with the ability to translate insights into commercial opportunities.
- Demonstrated hunter mentality, including comfort with rejection, high outbound activity levels, and accountability for pipeline creation and revenue delivery.
- Ability to prioritize high‑value opportunities, manage multiple deals concurrently, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑performance sales environment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with professional telephonic and written presence.
- Additional advantage: experience using AI‑enabled productivity or sales tools, familiarity with structured discovery frameworks, and competitive selling methodologies.
- For positions based in South Africa, preference will be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups in line with the company's Employment Equity plan and targets.
