Department: Location: Belknap Campus Time Type: Part time Worker Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) Job Req ID: R107306 Position Description: The Department of Health & Sport Sciences invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching positions for undergraduate and/or graduate classes in the following content areas: Exercise Physiology Exercise Science Health Education Physical Activity Physical Education Sport Administration Youth Sports Instructors are expected to prepare and submit a course syllabus in accordance with accreditation standards; provide developmentally meaningful feedback to students; present engaging learning experiences; respond to students in a timely manner; communicate regularly with the program director; maintain collegial and respectful relations with members of the UofL community and external stakeholders; submit course data (e.g., Hallmark Assessment Tasks, midterm progress reports) and final grades within university deadlines; and, comply with other university requests as a part-time instructor. Amount of work required can vary by position and will range in FTE. Candidates will be reviewed and placed in a pool for consideration as openings arise.
