Job Summary: The Quality Engineer works with minimal supervision and uses originality, ingenuity and established procedures to control and monitor quality, ensuring products are consistent with industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements. Must have knowledge and experience working with AS9145 and ISO. Essential Functions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers) to ensure product quality and continuous improvement. Monitor and analyze production data, quality control systems, and critical points in the value stream to identify and address quality issues. Lead root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and drive qualification of product and process changes to maintain high-quality standards. Support audits, failure analysis, and reliability testing, while producing reports on nonconformance, quality trends, and root cause analyses. Review and approve quality-related document changes (ECOs, MCOs, deviations) and implement continuous improvement strategies using data-driven methods.
