About the role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, Welders are responsible for repairing and maintaining site structures and equipment in a shop or field environment. This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 schedule consisting of days and nights. The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary. This position involves welding and fabricating heavy mining equipment and structures in an industrial environment. If you're a Red Seal Welder, Journeyperson Welder, or CWB Certified Welder with experience in structural welding and heavy equipment repair, we encourage you to apply. Requirements

• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Welder Certification
• Valid driver's license
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• B Pressure welding ticket would be considered an asset
• Previous mining experience is an asset
