The Carelon Innovation Enablement Director is responsible for partnering across Carelon Strategy & Growth, Product, Business Units, Sales, Technology, and other enterprise stakeholders to accelerate strategic priorities through structured problem solving, operating model design, and execution enablement. The role serves as a catalyst for innovation by helping translate strategy into actionable capabilities, piloting new approaches, and building scalable operating models that enable long-term enterprise growth. How you will make an impact: - Partner with executive leadership to identify, structure, and accelerate high-impact strategic initiatives across Carelon. - Lead cross-functional efforts to solve complex business challenges through strategic analysis, operating model design, and executive facilitation. - Design and implement new enterprise capabilities, governance models, and operating frameworks that improve organizational effectiveness and execution. - Support innovation efforts through structured test-and-learn pilots, capability incubation, and rapid experimentation. - Develop business cases, executive presentations, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps to support leadership decision-making. - Partner across Product, Growth, Sales, Technology, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to align stakeholders and remove barriers to execution. - Identify opportunities to simplify enterprise processes, improve governance, and accelerate delivery of strategic priorities. - Monitor initiative progress, risks, and outcomes, ensuring successful transition of mature capabilities to long-term business owners. - Investigates and manages internal and external issues, to include provider issues, clinical issues, and other inquiries. - Develops Carelon Medical Benefits Management's solution innovation strategy and leads Carelon Medical Benefits Management's business partnership strategy. - Provides analytic and business insight across Carelon Medical Benefits Management. - Investigates and manages internal and external issues on an ad hoc basis including provider issues, clinical issues, and other inquiries. - May provide leadership and/or oversight of projects, project teams and/or external consultants. Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS degree in a related area and a minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible business and professional experience including 3 years of leadership experience in a related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences: - Master's degree preferred. - Experience in management consulting, strategy, product management, enterprise transformation, operating model design, or program leadership. - Demonstrated ability to lead highly complex, cross-functional initiatives in ambiguous environments. - Experience developing executive-level communications, governance models, and enterprise operating frameworks. - Strong analytical, facilitation, and executive communication skills. - Experience working across healthcare, technology, product, or growth organizations is preferred.
