Schedule: Monday to Friday Primarily Days with some mix of Evening Shifts Job Description Summary: Oversees students' performance and competency of diagnostic imaging examinations on pediatric patients and ensures high-quality clinical instruction, compliance, and a positive learning environment promoting professional growth and patient safety. Performs diagnostic imaging examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images. Job Description: Essential Functions: Prepares pediatric patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety. Operates radiologic equipment to capture images of pediatric patients' internal organs and structures. Coordinates and oversees clinical rotations for radiology students and observation students across assigned clinical sites. Schedules clinical assignments and maintains appropriate student-to-site ratios. Ensures compliance with organizational, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Provides guidance, mentoring, and constructive feedback to support student learning. Maintains accurate records of student performance, competencies, and clinical hours. Education Requirement: Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required. Licensure Requirement: - Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required. - Valid "R" category Ohio Radiological License, required. Certifications: CPR certification, required.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures, safety standards, and patient care.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • 2 years of clinical radiography experience, required.
  • Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.
