Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

• Possess comprehensive knowledge of all paint, polish, and related materials commonly used within the hospitality industry.
• Apply paints, coatings, and polishing materials in accordance with manufacturer specifications, industry best practices, and safety standards.
• Safely operate and maintain all tools, equipment, and machinery required for painting and polishing works.
• Deliver high-quality finishes for all painting and polishing tasks in line with hotel standards and brand requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the appearance of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, external areas, furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure all assigned tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and operated safely at all times.
• Work closely with Guest Room Technicians and other Engineering team members to ensure maintenance requests are completed efficiently and within the required timeframes.
• Support Engineering colleagues with maintenance activities whenever required and available.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within paint workshops, storage rooms, and work areas, with particular attention to the safe handling and storage of flammable materials.
• Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.
• Comply with all Hotel Health, Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests to minimize inconvenience and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Participate in special projects and perform related duties as assigned.
• Remain fully familiar with hotel emergency procedures, fire and life safety requirements, and evacuation protocols.
