About the role

  • Own the financial performance of the local office, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss management.
  • Drive revenue growth, productivity, profitability, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure effective management of cash flow, financial controls, contractual commitments, and business risks.
  • Promote financial discipline and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead customer retention, business development, and market expansion initiatives.

  • Build and maintain strategic customer relationships to strengthen market position and long-term growth.

  • Build, develop, and lead a high-performing leadership team.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, and retention to meet current and future business needs.

  • Champion the adoption of new technologies, systems, and process improvements.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.

  • Qualification/Min Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in logistics or a related industry, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in leading business operations with full P&L accountability, including budgeting, financial management, and business growth.
  • Demonstrated success in sales leadership, customer retention, business development, and strategic account management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in operational excellence, vendor management, risk management, and compliance governance.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans and deliver sustainable results.
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including talent development, succession planning, employee engagement, and performance management.
