Assistant Director, Strategy, Planning and Research

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee strategic planning processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and healthcare priorities.
• Lead research initiatives to inform policy, operational improvements, and service delivery enhancements.
• Manage the performance monitoring function, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of key metrics.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and best practice adoption.
• Mentor and guide the Strategy Team to achieve departmental objectives.
• 10 -15 years' experience in healthcare strategy, planning, research, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business Management, or a related discipline; Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives in a complex healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Must be a resident of Imo State or open to relocation.
