About the Role The Professional Services Programme (PSP) is a three-year, University-wide transformation programme that is strengthening how professional services are organised, led and delivered. Through collaboration across departments, divisions and central services, it is building more resilient and efficient services that support the University's core mission of education and research, and that respond to the future needs of academics, students, and staff. The Programme Manager will play a central role in ensuring delivery of the PSP's overall outcomes and benefits, supporting prioritisation of activity for maximum impact, and ensuring activity is controlled and sequenced in such a way as to be manageable to the institution. Embedded within the University's Programme and Projects Delivery group, and working in close partnership with the Professional Services Programme Director, the post holder will take responsibility for overseeing planning, dependency management, resourcing, delivery and benefits realisation for PSP workstreams and for developed improvement projects requiring resourcing from the programme. About You To succeed in this role, you will have: Outstanding people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, to develop team members, and maximise performance The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively at all levels of the organisation Strong strategic thinking capability, with the ability to translate vision into clear, deliverable plans and outcomes Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and complexity and operate effectively in a complex environment Sponsorship and Right To Work This role meets the criteria for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa.
