Additional Information
The End-of-Line (EOL) Inspector serves as the final quality gate before finished windows and doors leave the facility. This role ensures all products meet corporate specifications, Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) criteria, and customer expectations. EOL Inspectors provide unbiased quality decisions, document results, prevent escapes, and support operations through real-time feedback. Primary Inspection Duties Perform detailed final inspections using standardized tools, gauges, lighting, and visual criteria (including the 14-point inspection and CTQ items). Conduct both front and rear product reviews using approved setups (e.g., V-rack, backlighting, 160+ FtC lighting standards). Stamp approved products using assigned unique inspector ID, ensuring full traceability. Accurately document findings in designated digital or paper systems. Identify, classify, and communicate defects (minor, major, critical) immediately to operations for correction. Prevent the release of nonconforming products to customers. Quality & Compliance Maintain strict adherence to corporate quality standards, EOL inspection guidelines, and itemized pass/fail criteria. Participate in ongoing EOL Calibration Training and annual recertification (as required by corporate guidelines). Support CFAs (Customer Facing Audits) and respond to issues with urgency. Maintain compliance with all documentation, traceability, and escalation procedures. Cross-Functional Collaboration Communicate directly with Production, Materials, Maintenance, and Quality teams regarding defects and systemic issues. Provide objective feedback to support corrective actions and process improvements. Participate in rotational EOL inspector scheduling as required by the site plan. Behavioral Expectations Serve as a role model for accuracy, integrity, and responsibility. Demonstrate strong situational awareness, attention to detail, and professional communication skills. Uphold the Accountability Agreement associated with stamp usage.
